"My experience with Kimberly Shahid was delightful from beginning to end.  I wanted to remake a mother of the bride dress and wondered if it were possible to make it a cocktail dress.  Kimberly did such an excellent job that I felt wonderful in the outfit, received many compliments, and even had one person ask who my designer was—I have never had the pleasure of working with a professional designer before, so I am now completely spoiled by the meticulous care Ms. Shahid takes in producing her designs.  I had several fittings, and the outfit was beautifully fitted, crafted, and designed.  Of course, I will wear this outfit many times, and hope to have more originals by Kimberly Shahid."

"I first came to Kim in 2008 because I needed the perfect dress for my rehearsal dinner in Charleston, SC.  I had a vision of the type and style of dress, but of course could not find what I was looking for in stores.  Not willing to settle for anything other than what I had in mind, I came to Kim with my ideas and let her make it a reality.  All of her ideas were unique and creative, geared towards my style and personality.  Together we were able to come up with some amazing ideas that were perfect for me. The consultation and fittings with her were based around my schedule, and it felt comforting that I was able to be involved in every aspect of the design.

When the night came to wear my beautiful dress, all eyes were on me making it a dress I felt beautiful in. It was perfect for me and my body type, and it's nice to own a piece of clothing without a size tag on it!  It's just size: "me."

I have since come back to Kim for sun dresses, shorts, bathing suit cover ups and even a pair of linen pants for my husband... which he wears almost everyday! Working with Kim to design garments just for me is such a special experience, and I plan to always keep her designs in my closet!"

"What a great experience I had with Sha Studio! I verbally described what I was looking for in a dress to wear to a wedding, and Kim hit it dead on with her design. A few short appointments later, I had an awesome, custom designed, perfectly fitted dress that cost the same or less than one off the rack! I've worn it to two weddings and have gotten endless compliments on it; the last compliment I received was "You are a show stopper in that dress!"
